What information do we keep?
When you sign a support agreement with us we have your name, address and an email or contact telephone number.
We also take brief client notes which are a record of what happens during each session. Client notes are kept separately to your details so no one can see who they are about.
Who do we share your information with?
Information about you is kept for safeguarding purposes. This means that if we are concerned that you are a serious risk to yourself or another person, or underage and a victim of abuse then we have recorded our concerns. We would have to pass on concerns if this was the case to the services who protect you. We will never pass on information without telling you first.
What do we do with your information?
We understand that this information is personal to you.
Alternatives will take every precaution to ensure that your information is kept safe. Client notes are kept securely locked in a filing cabinet. Only team members have access to that cabinet.
How long are your details kept?
Client details are destroyed securely after seven years.
