We understand that your information is personal to you, and both within our services and around our website, we will keep your data safe and secure.
What information do we keep?
When you sign a support agreement with us we have your name, address and an email or contact telephone number.
We also take brief notes which are a record of what happens during each session. Notes are kept separately to your details and coded so no one can see who they are about.
When working through telephone or online we also ask for an emergency contact number. This is someone we can call to check you are ok if you are distressed and then suddenly hang up or we loose signal. This is because we are not in the room to keep you safe.
Who do we share your information with?
We do not share your information with anyone unless we are concerned that you are at risk of harm to yourself or another person. We would have to pass on concerns if this was the case to the services who protect you. We will never pass on information without telling you first.
What do we do with your information?
We understand that this information is personal to you.
Alternatives will take every precaution to ensure that your information is kept safe. Client notes are kept securely locked in a filing cabinet. Only team members have access to that cabinet.
How long are your details kept?
Client details are destroyed securely after seven years.
