Making a Pregnancy Decision
A decision about a pregnancy can be one of the most difficult decisions you will have to make. Often there are many different voices telling you what you should think and feel. Friends and family can have their own stories which may affect what they think and say. All of these voices can feel overwhelming and it can feel like a lonely experience.
There are perhaps circumstances affecting how you feel about being pregnant, and you may not be sure what to do.
You may feel unsure about what to do next or about what is right for you, or perhaps you just feel anxious and are not sure why.
Reflect is supportive space where you can talk through your thoughts and feelings with someone outside of your situation. We provide counselling and information and will take the time to listen. We won’t judge you or tell you what to do. Whatever decision you make we will be here to support you.
Appointments are available daytimes, evenings and weekends and sessions last around 50 minutes. We do not have a waiting list for this service and clients should expect to be seen very soon when requesting an appointment.

This is never an easy decision to make. Some women feel this is the right choice for them. Others feel as though this is the only real choice they have.
The decision to have an abortion is personal, you are the only person who can make it, and this can feel like a lot of pressure.

Because of the government guidance on social distancing most abortions are currently happening at home. You can now self-refer for abortion in Tayside, or referrals can be made through your G.P. or sexual health services.

Very few people consider adoption but for some this is the right choice for them. You may be surprised how the adoption process has changed and how much choice a birth parent can have, including some time to change your mind. We work closely with the local social work department to support birth parents providing counselling throughout the process.
